Brookline, Mass: Privately Printed, 1934. First Edition . Paper Wrappers. Very Good. 24 pp. First edition. Includes 3 b & w illustrations. Written to mark the 100th anniversary of the Parish of Saint John's [Episcopal], originally called St. Luke's. The original building designed by Richard Upjohn was destroyed in the Bangor Fire of 1911, along with the church records. Upjohn's design for Saint John's was one of the first examples of English perpendicular Gothic in America. Original light green paper wrappers, minimal bumping on lower corners and spine edges.
