About the author

Karsten Heuer is a wildlife biologist and park warden. He has worked everywhere from the Rockies to the far north of Canada, from Poland to South Africa. A recipient of the Wilburforce Foundation Conservation Leadership Award, he is also the author of two nonfiction books for adults.
