About the author

Aminda Leigh has worked as a journalist for almost twenty years. Her romance with Italy began when she started to visit Rome on a regular basis in the 1990s. In 2001, after working at the BBC for twelve years, she decided to take a sabbatical and try living in Rome where she is now permanently based.
Pietro Pesce is a professional photographer. He moved to Rome when he was not quite two years old and considers himself a "Romano" through and through. He currently works in Italian cinema.
