London, UK: Ward Lock, 1954. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 192pp, colour frontispiece plus 24 photographic plates. Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine; top text block edge sprayed red. 8vo. Rubbed spine ends, bottom front corner bumped. Fore and bottom text block edge tanning. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Gift inscription on front free endpaper. Pages starting to age. Otherwise, internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket protected with Brodart-style sleeve, has light shelf wear, minor loss at spine head, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price clipped.
