About This Item
San Francisco: Sierra Club Books, 1980. Quite a lot of creasing and tears to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, also a four-inch diagonal tear to top left-hand side of front panel of same. Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of blue boards, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. The author's account of his time as a guest of the American National Science Foundation and of the British Antarctic Survey at Ross Island and Graham Land. 387pp, 12 colour illustrations 13 maps.. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
