The highest scoring Aces of World War II were on the Eastern Front in Russia. The most common fighter pane was the Bf 109. Laid-in (glued) inside the front cover is a b/w photo signed by Ace Walter Schuck. He flew over 500 combat missions & had 206 kills. On the next p. is a signed color photo of Ace Erich Rudorffer. He flew over 1,000 combat missions & had 222 kills. Both received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross w/Oak Leaves. Paperback book in near fine cond. Unusual.
