Description

J. Harrop, H. Smith , Manchester, 1791. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. A good set of the first three volumes, tight and sound in binders' cloth, gilt lettered on spines. Third volume has the ticket of 'Wilde Bookbinder Manchester' on the front pastedown. The text of the first two volumes is quite foxed in places but largely clean. Bindings are stamped 'Historic Society' on the spines, slightly frayed at spine tops, corners a little bumped. There are no plates. No inscriptions. Collation on request. Approx. size 9" by 6".
