Also including numerous in-text woodcuts throughout both volumes.Including contributions from many big game experts, including Lietenant-Colonel R. Heber Percy, Arnold Pike, Major Algernon C. Heber Percy, W.A. Baillie-Grohman, Sir Henry Pottinger, Abel Chapman, the Earl of Kilmorey, Walter J. Buck, and St. George Littledale. The first edition of this work, bound in half morocco with gilt coat of arms to the front. In the original half morocco binding with cloth covered boards and a gilt coat of arms to the front board. Externally, some shelf wear, especially to the spines. Spines are heavily rubbed and faded. Bumping to the extremities. A hole to the binding and spine on Volume II. Internally, hinges are starting but firm, particularly the front hinge to Volume II. Both volumes are firmly bound. Some light spotting to the pages. Good Only
