Description

World Ship Society - Trident Books¸ Tynemouth , 215 p. : ill. b/w, maps, plans of ships and guns. These battleships originally designed and built rapidly to fulfill an urgent need for heavy shore-bombardment during World War I and were not used much until the World War II. Between 1914 and 1965 there were 42 monitors commissioned. Includes index and bibliography. Very good/ good minus, slight tears and soiling to dj. Heavy may require extra postage.
