About This Item
London: Brockampton Books, 1957. First edition, first printing. Published by Brockhampton Books in London, 1957. This a very good copy. The dust wrapper has some general creasing throughout, but the Leslie Stead illustrations are bright and clean. There is a mild tear on the rear panel and some handling marks present. It has not been price clipped. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text block is bright but with foxing. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in very good condition. First published in various annuals and periodicals and the sixth anthology of short stories set in the Special Air Police of Biggles' career.
