GB: Geoffrey Cumberledge / Oxford University Press, 1950. Dustwrapper/dustjacket is price clipped. Book is in good plus condition with quite noticeable signs of wear and/or age. Spotting to edges and throughout but text is clean and tight. Patches of fading to boards and small area of loss to top of back cover. Dustwrapper/dustjacket is in only good (that is, fair or average) condition with major signs of wear and/or age.. Reprint. Hardback. Good+/Good DW.

Synopsis

W. E Johns was born in Bengeo, Hertfordshire in 1893. During the First World War he served in the Machine Gun Corps, and then in the Royal Flying Corps. In 1918 he was shot down and captured in France. His first book, The Camels are Coming , was published in 1932.
