Dark blue morocco spine and corners, with gilt ruled borders.Five raised bands on the spine, gilt title lettering, and date, with sporting emblems decorating four compartments.Top edge gilt.Ochre cloth boards, and marbled endpapers.. xii, 455 pages. Illustrated with numerous full page engraved plates plus smaller text illustrations. Includes engravings, drawings and diagrams etc.5.5 X 7.5 inches.There are some very few scuffs and rubbing to the leather here and there. Browning to fore edge, and spotting to title page and final pages. Water stain to early pages at the lower corner, diminising progressively. Original owner's ex libris leather gilt lettered label on the front pastedown.Very good copy, pages mostly very clean throughout, with a very sound and solid binding.. First Edition. Half-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket.
