The Birth Mother is a book by American author, Tara Taylor Quinn in the Family Man series. When publicity man Bryan Chambers loses his family in a tornado, he becomes an instant father to his eleven-year-old adopted niece, Nicki. And when, close to her twelfth birthday, Nicki begs him to find her birth mother, he can’t refuse. But when he tracks down Jennifer Teal, she seems not to be interested in children. Bryan isn’t going to let Jennifer break Nicki’s heart with a rejection, so he needs to get to know her a little better, and soon finds himself falling in love. Quinn’s characters have depth and appeal; her plot is a classic with a twist; there is plenty of emotion, and, of course, a happy ending. A moving romance read.
