Hbk in d/w; 1st edition (1954) ; suprisingly scarce as 1st edition; light grey cloth boards with red lettering; light browning/foxing to fep; no names or other handwriting inside; contents lovely and clean; unclipped d/w (8s6d) however there is a little loss round edges - see picture on our own site or abe; ; Black Banner; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

Fawn cloth-covered boards, red titles on front and spine. 8vo. Lightly rubbed spine ends, light soling to edges, quite cocked. Text block edges tanning and just starting to fox. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring some light foxing to prelims. Dust jacket protected with plastic (not adhered), has light shelf wear, are of loss around spine heel and bottom, some small closed tears, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, not price clipped.
