Jarrold & Sons, nd(1881) 1881. Hardcover. VG. Twelfth Edition, Forty-First Thousand. 11 x 17 cm blue cloth with decoration to the front, back and spine and gilt titles to the front and spine, brown endpapers, 247[1]pp [6] pages publisher's catalogue with 2 black and white illustrations including frontispiece The boards, which are the same as the first edition, are very good with some rubbing along the bottom edge and a little pushing to the spine tips. Internally there is a a gift inscription on the recto of the frontispiece dated Feb 1st 1881 and a little marking to the frontispiece with a 3mm dot. The text pages are generally very clean with just a little very occasional light mark.
