W. & R. Chambers Limited, 1932. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1932. First Impression. 380 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are bright and clear with moderate tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Minor dog-eared corners, with water drops and a few small nicks along text block edge. Closed tear to half title page, which has been glued shut. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a substantial forward lean.
