About the author

STEVE AOKI is an Asian-American electronic musician, record producer, DJ, and music executive. He has collaborated with artists such as Daddy Yankee, Migos, Tiesto, Linkin Park, blink-182, Lil Jon, and Fall Out Boy, and has released several Billboard-charting studio albums, notably Wonderland, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2013. His album Neon Future III, which serves as the third chapter of the Neon Future concept albums, featured BTS, Louis Tomlinson, Lil Yachty, Bill Nye, and many more. He was born in Miami, FL, and grew up in Newport Beach, CA, and is the founder of The Aoki Foundation, whose primary goal is to support organizations in the brain science and research areas with a specific focus on regenerative medicine and brain preservation as well as humanitarian causes such as disaster relief, developmental disabilities and animal rights.

DANIEL PAISNER is the author or co-author of more than sixty books, including sixteen New York Times bestsellers. As a ghostwriter, he has collaborated with such leading personalities as tennis great Serena Williams (On the Line); football legend Ray Lewis (I Feel Like Going On); two-term Ohio governor John Kasich (Two Paths); Academy Award-winning actors Denzel Washington (A Hand to Guide Me), Whoopi Goldberg (The Book) and Anthony Quinn (One Man Tango); and, former world-champion longboard surfer Izzy Paskowitz (Scratching the Horizon).
