Chicago: Rand McNally & Co., 1924. First edition [1924]. Worn but sound copy. Charming story in verse about Santa Claus' younger brother, Santa Criss, and two magical figures that emerge from two bonbons he made. Illustrated mainly in duotone (black and white plus one additional color) plus several full color plates. Blue cloth lettered in gilt with color illustration mounted on the front cover, patterned endpapers, 96 pages. Covers have some finger soil and edgewear, with light fraying to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, two bits of old adhesive on the front pastedown, a few tiny chips and closed tear to the far lower margins, light foxing to dedication page, very minor old transparent stain to the far top margins, gift notation on the verso of the front free endpaper, pages otherwise unmarked and generally clean with a few instances of light finger soil.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
