New York: G.P. Putnams Sons, 1904. First Edition . Illustrated Cloth. Good+/No Jacket. Peter Newell. Covers show wear and light soiling, spine a bit faded, slight lean, inscription on flyleaf. Several plates are detached but present. Red cloth with decorative titles, paste-on of an owl and a duck in very good shape. Nine plates, one in color. Amusing animal tales, such titles as 'Jenny Ragtail' (a rabbit), 'Hoot-Mon' (an owl), 'Kitchi-Kitchi (a squirrel) and six others. Reminds me of Uncle Wiggily stories. "Studies in Unnatural History".
