Published by the Clarendon Press by Samuel Collingwood and Co., Oxford, 1828. Measures 5.25" x 8.75". Bound in publisher's original smooth black Morocco with raised bands and decorations to the spine. Gold and embossed borders with red and gold label on the spine. Marbled endsheets. The book is in very good antiquarian condition. Wear and soiling to the boards and edges. Wear at the bands with part of the label missing and vertical crease extending down the spine. The hinges are exposed. Previous owners gift inscriptions in ink and pencil on the verso of the front endpaper and on the front leaf. Page repair made to the title page, adhering a full sheet of the paper to the back to fill in the bottom corner. The paper covers the copyright information if there is any.
