Doubleday, 1971. First Edition . Cloth. Good/Good. (1st) Brown cloth, darker brown lettering on spine very fine, purple inside covers and adjacent end papers, first front end paper removed, 345 lightly browned pages plus brief biographical note. Writing on islands by Homer, Lucian, Swift, Edward Bellamy, Defoe, Verne, Wells, Hearn, Kipling, Golding, Melville and many more. DJ has light green background with antique map of Caribbean Islands, title and author with purple background at top front right, spine too. DJ has slight wear with micronicks at top tips, tiny worn places along front bookfold edge, very slightly rubbed on front and spine, slight surface wear with micronicks at spine top and bottom edge, tiny tear with creases at bottom back tip. DJ and book, both just Good.
