Pp. 220+[2](colophon, verso blank), 3 hand-tipped coloured plates, plus 96 black & white plates (some with multiple images, all plates within pagination), text illustrations, bibliography; roy. 4to; qr. vellum, spine lettered and ruled in gilt, blue papered boards, fore-corners bruised; t.e.g., others uncut; dust wrapper, lightly soiled, edges slightly rubbed and split, the front flap fold silverfished, backstrip browned; endpapers slightly marked, a few tiny edge chips; George G.
