Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

The boards are a little shelf rubbed and slightly faded marks. Internally the pages are immaculately clean and complete. The binding is excellent. GK. There are three very slightly surface-skinned rectangles to front and rear endpapers and minute evidence of a library number label having been removed from heel of spine. There are no other library markings or stamps whatsoever. Apart from these slight traces of library label removal, this is a very clean, tight Near Fine copy in original gilt-lettered burgundy cloth..
