The Borzoi Book of Ballet explains the dancers, the music, the stories, the meanings of many popular ballets--Giselle, Swan Lake, Pillar of Fire,Cinderella, Don Juan, and many more. Clean, unmarked, solid volume in red cloth with blind stamp of a ballet dancer on front, spine with gilt titles. Lavishly illustrated with photographs, some specially taken for this book. Previous owner name on endpaper. Internals clean and unmarked--very nice condition. The jacket is bright, clean, with edgewear, a closed tear by the spine on both sides of the spine head and by the spine tail on the lower edge. 6.75 x 10 inches. 362 pages with Glossary of Terms and Index. 1952, Alfred A.
