San Francisco: (Erlanger's Columbia Theatre), 1930. First Edition. Staplebound printed wraps. Very Good +. 8vo. Pp. 32. With b&w line drawings. Loaded with sophisticated ads that reflect a theater-going society seemingly immune to the immediate effects of the Great Depression. Color printed wraps. The first leaf (not the front cover) with a fore-edge closed 1" tear. Rife with ads for all manner of products marketed to upscale San Franciscans, and tourists, esp. hotels. Production mounted at Erlarnger's Columbia Theatre, O'Farrell near Powell. Production directed by Arthur Greville Collins. Cast includes Nora Gardiner, Harry J. Leland, Margaret Adams, Phillip Strange, Nan Harper, Helene Sullivan, et al. Opening night was November 10, 1930. Now housed in an archival mylar sleeve with backing.
