London: Faber and Faber. Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket. 1958. First Edition. Hardcover. 28 cm. Sound and square binding in salmon, cloth-covered boards. Minor wear to edges and corner tips. Top edge of the text block is a bit dusty. Previous owner's name on the front free endpaper. Otherwise, inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has some edge wear, heaviest to the corners, and including a short tear to the front edge of the spine. The spine is faded. Rear panel somewhat tanned along edges and both panels have some light soil. Not price clipped. A three act comedy by British writer, William Golding. .
