Londo, Paris, New York and Melbourne: Cassell and Company, Limited, 1904. One of Haggard's historical novels, this one set during the Third Crusade, with Saladin and the Assasins as characters. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First Edition. Red cloth binding with titling in gilt on the spine and front cover, which has a gilt decoration. Clean text; 342 pages; with a 16-page publisher catalog, preceded by two pages of "New Novels" in the rear; decorative endpapers. Very minor wear; spine darkened. A solid copy, but there is what looks to be an erased signature on the front cover. In an archival plastic protector.. First UK Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
