About the author

Gwen Heeney has been a ceramic artist for over twenty years, but she has spent the last fifteen years working closely with a number of brick factories and doing large-scale commissions. She has been a research fellow at the University of Wales, Institute of Cardiff on architectural ceramics, and she currently teaches at the University of Wolverhampton.
