About This Item
A nice first printing of the first American edition [Macmillan NY 1959], by the 1961 Winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. The book is in very good condition with no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting but with solid bumping to the spine ends. The dust jacket is in good condition, not price-clipped ($3.50), with creases, chips and tears. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information concerning this scarce book.
