Three volumes bound in one. Illustrated throughout with many in-text images and three individual frontispieces. Collated complete. Each volume covers a section of Bristol's vast history, from civil history, to ecclesiastical history, and modern history. Written by James Fawckner Nicholls, an English antiquarian and librarian of Bristol, and John Taylor, a historian and librarian of Bristol Museum. Bound in full crushed morocco. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear. Paint mark to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. A small closed tear to the first frontispiece. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
