London: Effingham Wilson, 1834. x and 126 pages. Plan of Oporto, 32 plates. Publisher's green cloth; the front cover has some damp staining though without carrythrough to the endpapers; the text and plates are good and clean and the binding is tight. Thomas Knight was a veteran of the Rifle Brigade into which he enlisted in 1812. He was working at Chatham when he was recruited for the service of the Queen of Portugal.
