William Collins of London, 1942. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1942. No Edition Remarks. 47 pages. Pictorial dust jacket covered in removable plastic wrapper over pictorial paper-covered boards. Contains black and white & colour illustrations throughout. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's name and pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing and chipping to spine ends. Boards are subtly bowed. Unclipped jacket has moderate surface wear, with chips, tears and creasing to edges, corners and spine ends. Lightly tanned and foxed.
