Reviews
The Broad Arrow: Australia meets Robin Hood , Jesse James, and Butch Cassidy and more in this yarn set in the Land Down Under. John haxon, felon, outlaw, thief; a man embittered by the harsh penal code of the country is the main character. This is his story of how he escapes from prison to become a "bushranger" what outlaws are called in Australia, and of how he finds the love that makes life worth living again, and ultimately proves his innocence. "High Adventure" to quote the dust jacket. Any lover of western adventure will love this book as it does indeed remind the reader of the western United States in tone and action. Having been born in England, it is only natural William Raine would want to write something with an English tone; and this is it. And it's a good one.
