About This Item
New York: The MacMillan Company, 1968. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Pinto, Ralph. New York: The MacMillan Company, 1968. Stated First American Edition and stated First Printing. Octavo, beige/green/black jacket illustrated by interior illustrator Ralph Pinto, front cover of boards matches the jacket cover, 165 pp. A Fine book in a jacket which is, at the fold between back panel and back flap, quite tattered, and which is also price clipped in order for an earlier store to place a small $4.95 price sticker on the front flap. The jacket is otherwise quite pleasing. Ralph Pinto's chapter-top illustrations liven this already lively chain of Irish folk tales, loosely tied together through Brogeen the Leprechuan, offered by author Lynch. Nice copy of the true American 1st/1st. L-26
