About This Item
Middletown, CT: Wesleyan University Press, 1965. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good +. INSCRIBED BY JAMES DICKEY TO POET DAVID KELLER (1880-1966) on the front free endpaper and also signed by David Keller next to Dickey's inscription. A very sharp copy to boot of the 1965 stated 1st edition. Tight and VG+ (light offsetting at pgs. 20-21) in a crisp, price-intact, VG+ dustjacket, with light foxing to the front panel and very light chipping and creasing along the spine. Still though, an attractive, very presentable copy of this, Dickey's 3rd published book of poetry (following "Drowning with Others" and "Helmets") and the 1965 National Book Award winner.
