One of his friends is murdered, and Whit is kidnapped and shot at, a thrilling fast paced novel. By David Dodge, an American author who also wrote 'Death and Taxes', 'To Catch a Thief', and 'Shear the Black Sheep'. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Textblock is a little cocked. A few minor marks to the boards. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn, with loss to the head and tail of the backstrip, with a couple of closed tears. Tears are repaired with tape to the reverse of the wraps and to the backstrip. A few minor marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a few occasional spots. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
