All in all a very nice copy. ; Stefano Delle Chaije (1794-1860) was an Italian zoologist, botanist, anatomist and physician. He was also an early parasitologist - this particular book studies invertebrates from the Naples region of Italy, especially parasitic worms and leeches, with descriptions of their physical structure, their anatomy, their propagation, their respiration, and most importantly, their interactions with humans.
