Hardcover, full brown leather lettered in gold on spine with single gold rule border and blind-stamped portrait on front cover, in original publisher's moderately soiled slipcase. 140 pages. Contents include special article about Byron Nelson by Sarah Pileggi, newspaper accounts of the five major tournaments won by Nelson and his 1945 record of eighteen PGA tournament wins [eleven being in succession]. Illustrated with photographs and full page source material taken from newspapers. Special limited edition of 600 copies, this being number 208, signed on limitation page by Nelson Byron. No previous ownership marks. Book is clean, fresh and unmarked, near like new. Publisher's slipcase is age soiled and marked on side with golfer's blind-stamped portrait. Fine in an otherwise very good slipcase. .
