First edition thus, #30 of 1950 copies. A facsimile of the first American sporting book with color plates (1830-33). Quarto. Original brown paper-covered boards over a green cloth spine, with a wood engraving inset on the front board and handsome gilt and black stamping. Internally crisp and clean. Light wear to the publisher's slipcase; else near fine.
