About the author

Michael Carrick, former president of the Professional Tour Caddie's Association, has caddied for over twenty years, most of them with the legendary Tom Kite. Together, they won sixteen PGA tournaments, including the coveted U.S. Open in 1992. Since spring of 2001, Carrick has been caddying for Jonathan Byrd, a young player who qualified for the PGA Tour via the buy.com tour where he finished in 8th place. Carrick lives in Jacksonville, FL (home of the PGA), where he has met and worked with some of the greatest golf legends of our time, from Hogan, Palmer, and Nicklaus to Watson, Crenshaw, and Norman.
Steve Duno is the author of "The K.I.S.S. Guide to Playing Golf "and the soon-to-be-released pocket version of the same title. In addition, he has published nine books on pet care. Formerly a teacher in both New York City and Los Angeles, as well as a long time golfer and animal behaviorist, Duno's books have won him appearances on both television and radio. He currently lives in Seattle with Louie, his lovable 12 year old Rottweiler mix.
