Boston and New York, Houghton, Mifflin and Co., 1886. 8vo, 513 pp. Half leather and paper over boards, top edge gilt, red ribbon marker; extremities of binding quite worn but contents crisp and clean; folding color map in excellent condition. Bookplate of William F. Vilas on front pastedown. Very good. § First edition. A very nice copy of this Zamarano 80 title (No. 66). The bookplate has been identified elsewhere as that of William F. Vilas (1840-1908), Senator for Wisconsin, 33rd Postmaster General, and 17th Secretary of the Interior.
