The first edition, first impression, of this uncommon work.In the original unclipped dust wrapper, with the scarce wraparound band promoting the play.File copy stamp to the front paste down. 'Call It a Day' is the most successful play of Dodie Smith, an entertaining comedy that ran at the Globe Theatre for 509 performances.In 1937 this play was adapted to a film of the same name, starring Olivia de Havilland. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper and wraparound band. Externally, smart. A few light marks to the boards. Spots to the fore edge. File copy stamp to the front paste down. Light edge wear to the dust wrapper, spine is a little sunned. Edge wear to the wraparound band, resulting in small closed tears. Light discolouration and handling marks to the wraparound band. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
