About This Item
Savannah, Georgia: Maranello Publications, 1985. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good +. Williams, Betty. A 263 page work consisting of an introduction and sixteen chapters. Signed and dated on the ffep by the illustrator as follows: "October 1993/Betty Williams/". On the same ffep at the upper outer corner in tiny writing is"13 Oct./mam/". Volume itself has black covers with sharp silver lettering on the spine and front cover. No apparent underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no remainder marks, no folded or dogeared pages, no foxing, no smudges. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. The dj has a bit of wear at the head and tail of the spine and at some edges and corners. The spine and the adjacent part of the back cover have age toning or sun toning. However, the dj looks quite nice in its protective cover. This is a work with some comical tales, some sad ones, some designed to help us appreciate our world today. A rather nice copy of a scarce work; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
