Montreal: M. Longmoore & Co, 1866. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo. 196 p., several pages of ads at back. 10 albumen plates. Original black cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Spine at head and foot have been expertly repaired. Some light spotting to plates but overall a very clean and tight copy. Plate titled, "Calm on the Saguenay", trimmed about 2 cm from fore edge, not affecting albumen image or writing. A very nice copy. First edition. Photographs by William Notman.
