About the author

Carolina de Robertis es una escritora de origen uruguayo, autora de Perla y el bestseller internacional, La montaa invisible. Sus novelas han sido traducidas a diecisiete idiomas y sido galardonadas con el Stonewall Book Award, el Premio Rhegium Julii en Italia, y el National Endowment for the Arts, entre otros. De Robertis tambin es traductora de literatura espaola y latinoamerocana y editora de una antologa. En 2017, el Centro de Artes Yerba Buena nombr a De Robertis como una de las 100 personas, organizaciones y movimientos que estn formando el futuro de la cultura. De Robertis es profesora en San Francisco State University y vive en Oakland, California, con su esposa y dos hijos.
