A suspense novel set within the world of Washington politics. A woman has been appointed to serve out the term of a recently dead senior senator from Pennsylvania. She is a popular activist back home and her appointment has angered extremists and one of them begins sending her threatening messages. The death of a man who falls onto the tracks of the Senate subway makes the police think that it may have been murder and it all seems to be tied into the MIA political movement. 312p..
