An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in dark blue paper covered boards quarter bound in navy cloth with gold lettering and a graphic on the spine with very minor overall shelf wear plus remainder marks on the top and bottom outside paper edges plus some yellowing of the paper edges. The dust jacket shows very minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of light rubbing overall. A novel about a female police captain assigned to investigate a notorious Brooklyn precinct where police terror rules and where dirty dirty tactics, torture, and personal vendetta's make a mockery of law and order. She has to deal with the resistance she will meet as a member of Internal Affairs, as a woman officer, and as someone ferreting out crooked cops.
