cat40a. London: Thacker/Calcutta: Thacker, Spink, 1898. Seventh Edition. Large format. Blue pictorial cloth, spine lettered in gilt, front cover designed and lettered in black and red. Frontispiece & 54 illustrations. Some rubbing of cloth and a bit of wear to corners, a bright very good copy. The first edition was published by Tower in 1892. Naval war in the future between England and France.
