Adolf Eichmann headed the working of the Jewish Affairs Office of the Gestapo, it took some fifteen years before he was found and arrested by an Israeli commando unit. The author's first association with his activities was in November 1946 when, as a newspaper correspondent, he interviewed his former associate, SS Sturmfuehre Dieter Wislicent, in the central jail in Bratislava some weeks before he was executed.
