New York: Grosset & Dunlap, [circa 1940s].. [circa 1940s].. Good. - Octavo, pictorial paper covered boards backed with blue cloth. The binding is rubbed, bumped & soiled. There are pieces out of the head & tail of the spine & the cloth is torn along the lower half of the rear joint. 160 pages. There are pieces out of the bottom corners of 2 leaves & there is scattered staining & light soiling. Illustrated with pictorial green & white endpaper maps & black-and-white photographic illustrations. Ex-library with a school library label on the front pastedown & a handwritten note from a donor on the half-title. Good only.
